I am having issues setting up an effects rack/macro, can you help?

I’ve sent up many effects racks for other successful Voice Over Actors. There’s a formula that I use to find the best sound for your voice and needs. But I don’t just set this up for you, I teach YOU how to adjust and set up your Effects so that you only need 1 consultation instead of a new Effects Rack/Macro every time you change your booth.

What DAWs do you use?

I started with Reaper, and have expanded into Adobe Audition, Audacity, Pro Tools, Ableton Live and Wave Pad. I am currently learning a new DAW every few months. I am phasing out my work with Audition due to it’s difficulty in advanced audio editing.

Why can’t I book any Gigs?

Sound Quality is an important factor when being hired for a gig. While you may not hear your noise issues there are others that can hear them and they are the ones turning down your auditions. Book a Booth Audit or Sound Quality Check to find out your sound issues.

What plug-ins do i need and which ones are you fimiliar with?

Plug-ins are my Achiles’ heel, I currently have nearly 2,000 effects and download 3-10 per week. I have studied Izotope’s RX 10-11, Neutron, and Nectar which I recommend for VOA. I use Waves plug-ins and recommend Clarity VX (the blue one), Clarity VX De-verb, and MV2 (compressor) for standard VO.

I’m experienced with VO but would like to improve my character voices can you help me?

Absolutely, while having a large range of natural character voices is helpful some of us just don’t have the range. I’ve been developing my character voice skills for years in order to use a combination of facial, acting, and plug-in assisted character voices.
